Kevin Nkem Nwankwor (KNN) is an internationally recognized filmmaker — a writer, director, and producer — and a pioneering voice in AI-driven cinema. As founder and CEO of KevStel Productions & Publications, he creates prestige African cinema rooted in memory, survival, faith, and human resilience.

Across a body of work that has reached global audiences, Kevin has written, directed, and produced feature films including Muna (IMDb 8.4), starring Adesua Etomi and Adam Huss and distributed across multiple territories on Amazon Prime; Tempting Fate, the fifth highest-grossing Nigerian film of 2015 and an official selection of the Pan African Film Festival, later released in Spanish as Tentar Al Destino; Mother’s Love, starring Vivica A. Fox and Lynn Whitfield; and Enemy Within, starring Eric Roberts.
Today, Kevin stands at the forefront of AI filmmaking, building a new production pipeline that brings epic, historically grounded African stories to the screen with cinematic scale and authenticity. His current work includes Igbo Landing, an AI-native cinematic series, with projects submitted to the UN AI for Good Film Festival and AIF 2026 at Lincoln Center.

A multidisciplinary storyteller, Kevin is also a recording artist (KNN) and publisher, leading KevStel’s bicontinental operations across Atlanta, Georgia and Abuja, Nigeria, alongside his wife, author Unoma Nwankwor.
Kevin holds an MFA in Filmmaking and an MBA in Global Marketing. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), and Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), as well as an award-winning Toastmasters speaker.
