There will be days when you think you couldn’t possibly tolerate your partner another day. When you meet Kamal & Ebele you immediately see their attraction. Mended with Love is a wonderful love story of two people with daddy issues which are affecting their adult decisions and some decisions are broken. Journey with Kamal and Ebele in this 3rd installment of the Sons of Ishmael and while you’re at it get caught up with book 1 and 2 and thank me later. I have absolutely enjoyed these characters, their families and their love of one another.

The brothers are still dealing with their father leaving them and starting another family. Kamal Danjuma, from Nigeria, baby boy of the family meets Ebele Ashdieu on a flight back to East London in the UK. Kamal, Soccer player has been moved overseas to hopefully repair his damaged reputation with no help from his so called girlfriend, and meddlesome mother, who is determined to see all of her sons married. Ebele, an older college student who was once famous, is trying to finish up getting her college degree.

I laughed I cried and I cheered and I actually read the book twice because I loved the story so much! The Danjuma brothers were all surprised by loved and although connected their journey to love - to Jesus and wives - was completely different! I never like to give the story away when I write reviews but let mr just say you will absolutely love this series and I would say this was my favorite and I really loved the previous two! I’m glad I discovered this author who expertly develops all of her characters and gives you a story of romance but weaves in and out throughout the story The word of God! I wish someone would turn these books into Hallmark movies!!!

I can't say enough how much I love this author's work! This book has all the feels and tackles family relationships and faith in a very real, raw and beautiful way! Not only will you end up loving the main characters but the supporting cast is also loveable! This is the last book in the series but can be read as a standalone! Wish I could give it more than 5 stars! Warning: You might shed a tear or two for some of the scenes but it is worth it 😊!
